A Fine Pair of Mid 20thC Italian Carved Marble Faux Peaches Size:Default Title A rather cheerful 1930's bottleOrigin: Italian Period: Mid Twentieth Century Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1940 60 Height: 2. 75 inches The pair of Italian carved marble faux peaches each naturalistically modelled and hand chiselled. Generally in good condition the peaches have expected wear, with one or two slight frits but nothing of a serious nature. Stone fruit was first made in the Victorian days, and became very popular after WWII, and is still made today but now, mostly in
